Schedule:

12-hour shifts, 7:00am–7:30pm, Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required
Highlights:
Join a state-of-the-art 21-bed Pediatric ICU/CVICU in a nationally recognized childrens hospital
Care for a complex case mix including cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, neurological disorders, trauma, ECMO, and multi-system organ failure
Epic EMR system required; experience within the past 12 months preferred
13-week assignment with 36 hours of orientation provided
1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
Magnet-designated facility providing specialized family-centered care in a healing environment
Requirements:
Current Wisconsin RN license or active compact license from permanent address state
Minimum 3 years of high-acuity hospital experience; strong Pediatric ICU experience required
At least 1 year of cardiovascular ICU experience required
Two years of acute care experience within the last three years in specialty
BLS and PALS certifications through American Heart Association only
Epic charting experience required
Basic arrhythmia experience; must pass telemetry exam prior to start with strict passing criteria
Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred
Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility
First-time travelers may be considered with appropriate high-acuity experience
