Responsibilities
  • Develop weekly production requirements for manufacturing operations with daily detail as the need arises by production scheduling process.

  • Conducts weekly scheduling meeting to review previous production performance and to gain plant alignment around future production requirements.

  • Communicates schedule changes, maintenance requirements, shut downs, and training needs that affect future production plans to corporate planning and logistics.

  • Develop and communicate daily production plans to all departments and keeps staff informed of any changes or updates as needed.

  • Develop daily and weekly actual versus scheduled communication and performance reporting.

  • Coordinates the initial production requirements for new products with QA and corporate R&D.

  • Analyze and review the manufacturing schedule and communicate opportunities to improve the balance of cost and service among raw materials, conversion, and finished goods costs.

  • Development of concepts for the optimization of tools, operating resources and production processes.

  • Develop daily production plans that optimally lead labor and enable plant efficiency targets to be achieved.

YOU HAVE
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

  • 3+ years of manufacturing, planning and/or scheduling experience preferred.

  • Proficient in MRP, Epicor and/or Syte Line are a plus.

  • Statistical and spreadsheet analytical skills.

  • Proficiency with Excel and Access.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and customer service.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong service-minded attitude with a hunger, drive and tenacity to own and improve processes.
