DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Fabrication "A": TIG welding and finishing of stainless steel and other materials
- Fabrication "A":
Operate Kuhlmeyer grinding and polishing machines (auto, semi-auto, and manual) - Fabrication "A":
Operate thermoforming and Fanuc routing equipment - Fabrication "B":
Operate machines and/or equipment such as CNC Panel Bender, Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses, Spot Welders, Lasers, Brake Press, Die Stamping (will be expected to operate any assigned machine) to fabricate metal into parts for use in manufacturing process - Fabrication "B":
Load and unload materials and/or parts into or out of the machine with precision and accuracy - Select proper software program to run specific parts on the machines and make software modifications as necessary
- Complete set up tasks to prepare for shift such as getting proper fixtures, etc.
- Visually inspect and measure parts for accuracy and defects
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Train employees on procedures and techniques
- Maintain housekeeping and workstation organization
- Other duties as assigned
Shift Hours:
- 1st shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm (M-F)
- 2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (M-F)
- 3rd shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am (S-Th)
- Fabrication "A":
Demonstrated TIG Welding experience - Good numerical abilities
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Familiarity with small hand tools and measuring devices
- Physical Abilities:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to perform body movements including reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, turning, bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and fine manipulation
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to visually inspect details to spot defects
- Ability to adhere to strict attendance standards
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
- Strong attention to detail and desire for precision and accuracy to uphold quality standards
- Prior experience with fabrication and/or machine operation in a manufacturing setting
