Senior Manager, Client Accounting Services – Small Business
Join Baker Tilly US as a Senior Manager overseeing our Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice. This role involves managing all phases of engagement planning and administration for large, complex engagements.

Job DescriptionKey responsibilities include:
- Manage complex engagements and concurrent projects, ensuring effective staffing and project execution.
- Plan and manage large projects, identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Lead the engagement staffing process and provide feedback on deliverables.
- Communicate strategically with clients, manage difficult conversations, and act as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
- Introduce change management and develop communication plans tailored to each client.
- Drive business development, promote sales orientation, and participate in the sales process.
- Maintain financial health of projects, managing billing, WIP, AR and expenses.
- Lead talent development, provide constructive feedback, and participate in recruiting strategies.
- Align team strategy with firm vision, communicate goals effectively, and participate in business planning.
These activities build a profitable and client‑focused practice while advancing your leadership skills.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a specialized field required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience, with five (5) years of supervisory responsibilities preferred.
- Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and project‑management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to lead and supervise, provide exceptional client service, and demonstrate continuous learning.
- Experience decomposing scope into detailed activities and managing delivery resources.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside normal business hours as client demands require.
