Shift Lead

Yummee Treats is a locally owned bakery that bakes cookies and makes bubble tea in Madison Wisconsin.

Oversee all service operations

Utilize scheduled Team Members in areas of effectiveness. Keep in mind their skill sets, strengths, and weaknesses. Coach Team Members in opportunities for growth and praise them for their strengths.

Run an effective and productive shift

Knowledge of the Farmer’s Market procedures

Have a solid understanding of all operations

Be able to train any Team Member on all operations

Execute and enforce all systems and procedures

Keep Team Members engaged and focused on serving guests

Keep Team Members accountable for the completion of their delegated tasks

Keep Team Members driven toward accomplishing store goals

Ensure Team Members are adhering to food safety requirements

Observe business operations keeping an eye out for areas for improvement

If assigned, conduct employee observations

Complete inventory once a month

Help run breaks efficiently and on time

Record all callouts and tardiness

Communicate effectively with the team and owner / operator

Answer the phone. If not available, delegate to trusted Team Members on a case-by-case basis

Be a role model to Team Members and Trainers. Answer their questions per Yummee Treats policy.

Accomplish any training assigned by owner / operator

Ensure that the team complies with all policies

Have accountability conversations with Team Members who break policy

Perform discipline for actions that do not meet Yummee Treats standards or the employee handbook & execute discipline documentation for all team members who fail to meet expectations. Complete with owner / operator.

Be willing to do any work you ask a team member to do. There is no work that is below you.
