Position Overview
The Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, WI is recruiting a full‑time professional internship for an LTE Airport Management Intern. The internship lasts one year and provides exposure to airport operations, security, facilities management, and administration. Shift work is required. For the 2026 budget year, there is a 1% reduction in wages, already reflected in the hourly wage listed.

Job Details- One (1) year full‑time professional internship
- Exposure to airport operations, security, facilities management, and administration
- Shift work required
- Assist with airport operations and administration tasks under supervision
- Participate in security and facilities management activities
- Support the airport manager in day‑to‑day operational matters
- Recent graduate of an airport management degree field or equivalent
- Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 139 and relevant FAA advisory circulars preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to communicate information in written form
- Ability to plan, organize, set priorities, and carry out assignments as directed
- Shift work availability
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in environments with aircraft, automobile, and construction noise, dust, and exhaust fumes
- Must pass an FBI criminal history records check
