Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Madison West
Pay Range: $20-$32 per hour (Based on Experience)

We’re looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician who takes pride in ensuring properties stay in top shape. In this role, you’ll tackle essential maintenance tasks, assist senior technicians, and play a vital part in preventative maintenance—keeping our community safe, functional, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do- Prepare vacant units for market readiness, ensuring a polished, move‑in‑ready space.
- Respond promptly to resident service requests, addressing concerns efficiently and professionally.
- Assist in preventative maintenance, including:
- Changing light bulbs and filters
- Painting, drywall patching, and lock repairs
- Pool maintenance (if applicable)
- Help with snow removal, ensuring paths are safe and clear by 6:00 a.m., while keeping accurate salting logs.
- Perform on‑call emergency services, working in rotation with other maintenance team members.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance logs, timesheets, and checklists.
- Keep grounds and common areas clean, safe, and free of debris.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Comfortable using essential tools like drills, saws, and meters.
- High school diploma preferred—trade school training is a plus!
- Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, auto insurance, and basic tools.
- Work indoors and outdoors, adapting to various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
