Haskins Main & Devine LLC is a well-established, woman-owned law firm serving individuals, families, and business owners in the Madison-Monona area. Our team provides compassionate and strategic legal guidance in estate planning, probate, elder law, and asset protection. We are seeking an experienced Trust and Estate Associate Attorney to join our team and contribute to delivering personalized, high-quality legal services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in trust and estates and a thorough understanding of the estate planning practice area;

the role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

• Meet with and advise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.
• Draft and review estate planning documents tailored to individual needs and goals.
• Guide fiduciaries through the probate and estate administration process, ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
• Assist with trust administration, including interpretation of trust documents.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Conduct legal research on trust, estate, and tax issues to support client matters.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the Wisconsin state bar association.
• One year of experience practicing trust and estates, including drafting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other legal professionals and support staff.
• Experience in working directly with older adults, people with disabilities, and their families.
