Spanish Medical Interpreter

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Access Community Health Centers, Inc Spanish Medical

Interpreters provide language interpretation for Access Community Health Centers (ACHC) patients, families, and staff. In addition, Interpreters work on written translations as needed.

Schedule:

PRN (as needed) during hours of operation (Monday‑Friday, 7:00am‑5:00pm).

• High school degree or equivalent
• Must have Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) certification
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Flexibility and ability to perform under pressure
• Fluent in Spanish

• Prior experience using medical terminology
• Previous experience serving as an interpreter in a clinic or hospital setting
