Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications and software products to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct manual testing of mobile applications and software integrations.
  • Utilize testing tools to identify and report bugs & issues.
  • Conduct regression testing to support software and firmware updates to appliances.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
  • Actively participate in project reviews for requirements, codes, and designs.
  • Develop, plan and implement test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate functionality, security, performance, and usability.
  • Support Developers and Customer Service personnel in day-to-day Support activities.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot customer reported issues.
  • Deliver Test Reports and summary of impact in a timely manner.
  • Document and communicate test results and recommendations for user experience improvements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test documentation such as workflow instructions and ways of working.
  • Actively participate in the project’s agile ceremonies.
  • Innovate with a focus on quality and value over speed and newness.
  • Foster A.I. and Machine Learning practices for improving testing experience.

Education Required

Associates or better in Computer Science or related field.

Experience Required

Experience in Mobile, IoT, and Software QA systems with experience creating and execution of test plans and reports.

Experience in testing mobile applications across multiple platforms (iOS, iPad, Android, and Android tablet).

Experience using SW QA Tools including JAMA, Postman, Test Rail, Dev Ops & defect tracking systems.

Proficiency in using various testing techniques and tools, including both manual and automated testing.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, agile methodologies, Agile/Scrum, and Dev Ops.

Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Swift, or Java Script) and script languages such as Python.

Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Quality systems, test lab maintenance, usage of problem-solving methodologies, attention to details, hands‑on experience for test preparation.

Adaptability to fast-paced, iterative development environments.
