UX User Experience Designer - Hybrid at Madison, WI

Myticas's direct client, is currently seeking a User Experience Designer for a Hybrid contract position at Madison, WI.

As a Senior CX/UX Designer, you will take on a more influential role in driving the design process. You will work on complex user flows, high‑fidelity prototypes, and lead user research initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of user‑centered design principles and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work with the design team at Clinical Surveillance & Compliance within Pharmacy Health & Technology to continue to deliver award‑winning pharmacist‑facing products.

Our designers work closely with the product and engineering teams, both creating intuitive interfaces and workflows and translating those into requirements that can be picked up and implemented by our agile teams. Our Drug Diversion product synthesizes complex health IT data about medication utilization to keep health systems focused on urgent areas of concern. You'll collaborate with the other designers who work within the product to understand user and customer needs and devise how to deliver a great solution via an iterative process.

• Designing pharmacy or medication‑focused tools.
• Creating tools that integrate with, or utilize data from, EHRs.
• Experience with complex enterprise workflows that involve multiple actors across a variety of contexts.
• Projects that involve unraveling complex information architecture and data structures to allow for simple and clear workflows.
• Systems design case studies and projects.

• Lead the design of user flows, wireframes, and high‑fidelity prototypes for complex projects.
• Plan and conduct comprehensive user research studies and usability tests.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable design recommendations.
• Uphold design systems and ensure consistency across products.
• Mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback on their work.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.
• Drive the iterative design process based on user feedback and usability testing.
• Stay up to date with the latest UX design trends and technologies.
• Present and defend design decisions based on user research and best practices.
• Ensure all design work adheres to accessibility standards and guidelines.

• 3 - 5 years’ experience designing for SAAS products
  • Portfolio of recent work examples
• Proficient in Figma
• Proficient in Fig Jam, Miro or other whiteboarding software
• Proficient in Jira issue creation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Wire framing:
  Advanced skills in creating detailed and user‑centered wireframes and user flows.
