POSITION: The IT Lab Support Specialist

The primary function of this role is to initiate, plan, execute, and ensure the timely completion of IT-related tasks for this project. The specialist will work directly with various departments within the Madison site (IT, Engineering, Facilities, Quality), functional business leaders, and Global IT teams to ensure each is delivering appropriate service levels to support project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information systems, or related field; equivalent IT work experience considered.

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

• Experience managing GxP-regulated system projects.
• 5+ years project management experience, including budget accountability.
• 5+ years experience as an IT professional.
• Experience with network, telecom, and server support.
• Experience leading or participating in daily stand-ups and cross-functional meetings; knows escalation procedures.
• Professional Project Management Qualification is an asset.
• Proven ability to motivate colleagues and manage stakeholder priorities under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work well under pressure; highly organized and focused on priorities.
• IT Service Delivery and ITIL experience preferred.
• Experience with Service Now or similar ITSM tools preferred.
• Experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences manufacturing and lab environments, with understanding of GMP requirements.
• Experience with manufacturing and laboratory systems in pharmaceutical settings.
• Strong leadership, analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work within complex organizational structures.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
