Top Required Skills & Years ofExperience:
- 2-4 years of ADA Accessibility experience with websites, applications, forms, PDF and conventional documents.
- 2-4 years hands‑on experience in using tools like WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, Acrobat PRO, manual keyboard testing.
- Candidate must display drive and urgency in getting tasks completed quickly.
Skills:
(2-3 allowed)
- Developing documentation or checklists for staff
- Professional collaboration across all levels of the organization.
TEAMS call
Onsite or Remote Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Position is 100% remote within the state of WI.
Project details:Under general supervision of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Bureau of Technology Management’s Content Solutions Team Manager, the ADA Digital Accessibility Specialist supports the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) mission and strategic plan by assisting teams with ADA Compliance for web sites, web and mobile applications/content, eforms and documents to meet or exceed the Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) related to Digital Accessibility.
