Overview
Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Database Administrator to join our team!
The Sr. Database Administrator is expected to lead and provide guidance to junior DBAs, while fulfilling all responsibilities of the Database Administrator 2 role. The Sr. Database Administrator must be able to create, update, configure, manage, and administer databases for current and future versions of Oracle and SQL Server databases. The DBMS must be managed across operating systems such as Red Hat Linux and Windows, including physical and virtual hardware configurations.
Responsibilities include creating database instances with control files, redo logs, archive logs, and other parameters as required. The role includes providing IT project management input, integrating DBMS with existing applications and systems, and developing, testing, and maintaining Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans. The Sr. Database Administrator should be able to recover database failures using RMAN, exports, Flashback, VMware snapshots, Snap Manager for Oracle, and related tools.
