About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI Automation Tester with a strong background in test automation, agile methodologies, and modern testing frameworks. In this role, you will design and execute robust automated test solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment and contribute both as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and as an individual contributor.
Responsibilities- Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Selenium-WebDriver
IO and JavaScript. - Implement automated tests for APIs and front-end applications using tools like Node.js, Jenkins, and Git Lab.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers in Agile teams to achieve in-sprint automation.
- Utilize Allure Reports, Jira, Xray, and Confluence for test management and reporting.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and drive solutions.
- Follow object-oriented programming principles to build reusable and maintainable test code.
- Support continuous integration and delivery processes through automation best practices.
- Ensure high quality in all deliverables and actively participate in design and code reviews.
- 10-12 years of experience with a primary focus on test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium-WebDriver
IO, JavaScript, and Node.js. - Experience with Jenkins, Git Lab, API testing, Allure Reports, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of OOP concepts and automation framework development.
- Ability to work independently as an SDET and drive testing initiatives end to end.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Playwright automation, GCP, and database automation is a plus.
- Experience in the insurance domain is a strong advantage.
