Job Description
Program Manager, Cardiovascular Tech Apprenticeships at UW Health. 100% FTE, day shift, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Work at 610 N. Whitney Way and 600 Highland in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Responsibilities- Develop curriculum for invasive Cardiovascular Tech apprentices, so they may prepare to write the RCIS board exam and successfully integrate into the lab.
- Oversee the didactic and clinical education for invasive cardiovascular technology apprentices.
- Work directly with the invasive cardiovascular labs to develop competencies for CVT apprentices.

- Associate's Degree in CVT or healthcare related field. Required
- Bachelor's Degree in CVT or healthcare related field. Preferred
- Five (5) years of Cardiovascular Technologist work experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory. Required
- Ten (10) years or more years of progressively responsible experience in the Cardiovascular Lab. Preferred
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist) Certification Required
- BLS certification Required
- ACLS certification Required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technicians ARRT (RT) with Wisconsin Imaging License Preferred
