Community-Based Therapist

Orion Family Services, an innovative outpatient and community mental health agency, is a growing organization that is looking to add dedicated Community-Based Therapists to our team. We are a licensed outpatient mental health and AODA clinic. Our main office is located on the west side of Madison with satellite offices on the east side and in Monroe.

Orion Family Services provides an array of outpatient, AODA and community-based services throughout southern Wisconsin. Our therapists work directly with clients who present with AODA and/or mental health concerns. As a not-for-profit agency, our mission is to promote well-being through compassionate mental health and community services. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for all age groups
• Provide evidence-based therapies, including trauma focused interventions and family systems work, to address mental health issues
• Facilitate family sessions to meet goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consumer care and crisis intervention when necessary
• Engage in ongoing professional development and staying updated on best practices
• Assume on-call responsibilities on a rotating schedule

• Licensed Independently as a psychologist or LCSW, LPC, LMFT
• Substance Abuse License includes CSAC, SAC
• Will consider training license: APSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT, SAC-IT
• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
• Must pass required background check
• Ability to work independently and engage in ethical decision-making
• Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
