Radiation Therapist

Radiation Therapist at UW Health

We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to use the most up-to-date linear accelerators and CT simulation systems including True Beams, Tomotherapy, and our MRI‑guided treatment machine View Ray, as well as simulating patients in accordance with prescription and instruction of the radiation oncologist.

100% FTE, day shift. Hours may vary but typically Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with occasional Saturday shift in rotation. Training schedule 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM for about 12 weeks, then transition to 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. This position may be eligible for a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Working at University Hospital/Carbone Cancer Center in Madison, WI with occasional float to Eastpark Medical Center.

• Graduate of a School in Radiation Therapy Technology.

Work experience is required.

• Certified as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Required.
• CPR certification Upon Hire Required.
