Overview
Lead Radiation Therapist for the Proton Therapy Clinic at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. The Proton Center will open Spring 2026. The candidate will join in Fall 2025 to be trained in proton therapy, create workflows and aid in development of new program standard operating procedures. Hours may vary based on patient census and department needs. 100% FTE, day shift, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
This position may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the Proton Therapy Clinic.
- Be a key go-to person for daily operations at the Proton Therapy Clinic.
- Be instrumental in various projects and trainings for the proton radiation therapy group.
- Simulate and treat patients in the brand new, state-of-the-art proton therapy center.
- This role includes approximately 80% clinical time and 20% administrative duties.
- Proton radiation therapy interest required; experience highly preferred.
- Pay: a $5,000 sign-on bonus may be available; relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.

- Graduate of a school in Radiation Therapy Technology required.
- 3 years of experience as a registered radiation therapist required.
- If applying for a proton lead, at least three years of proton treatment experience preferred.
- Certified as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists;
Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.
