Position Summary:
Registrars are the first point of contact with the patients of Access Community Health Centers. Assisting patients via phone or in clinics. Registrars will work effectively to resolve patient issues, register and schedule appointments, enter and verify patient demographics and insurance information, route messages to clinic staff, and support department and interdepartmental workflow as needed. Individuals must ensure consistent processes while delivering great experiences through compassionate interactions.
Extensive knowledge of Access Community Health Centers is required to better address patient concerns, questions and course of action. Outstanding customer service, compassion and empathy are critical in this role.
This position will be onsite at 103 E Fountain St, Dodgeville Wi
Desired candidate would have the following qualifications:Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience using a personal computer with strong keyboarding and typing skills
- Ability to think critically and multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of customer service, telephone, or reception experience
- Previous experience scheduling or registering medical/dental appointments
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience with EPIC or other electronic health record (EHR) systems
Our total compensation package includes competitive wages, plus a full range of attractive benefits for regular full and part time staff working a minimum of 20 hours per week:
Compensation starts at $20.00 and may be adjusted according to experience. 0.8-1.0 FTE and schedule (Monday-Friday)
