OB/GYN Sonographer Overview:

• No evening, Saturday, or holiday hours!
• M-F between 7:30am-5:30pm, as a PRN position, you will be scheduled to fill in for absences and some routine shifts as a vital part of our team. Hours may range from 0-32 hrs/week, minimum 16 hrs/month guaranteed.

• Perform obstetric and pelvic diagnostic ultrasounds, including first trimester dating and viability ultrasounds, follow up obstetrical growth ultrasounds, amniotic fluid indices and biophysical profiles, and gynecologic pelvic ultrasounds. May also assist physicians with sonohysterograms and ultrasound guided gynecologic procedures like IUD insertions.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Apply medical terminology, and anatomical and physiological knowledge to ensure that appropriate anatomical, pathological, and clinical conditions are accurately captured to for proper interpretation of images.
• Collaborate with physicians to deliver precise diagnostic evaluations.
• Maintains proficiency in sonography techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program
• Certification with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in OB/GYN (OB)
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and disease progression
• Proficiency in aseptic technique and medical imaging procedures.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients and care team members.
• One-year sonography experience in OB/GYN (OB)
• Previous experience in a clinic setting
• Previous experience with Epic and PACS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification

Pay: $35.07 - $40.68 per hour
