Overview

Registrar is the first point of contact with patients at Access Community Health Centers. The role registers patients, schedules appointments, verifies demographics and insurance, routes messages, and supports interdepartmental workflow.

Responsibilities
  • Register and schedule patient appointments
  • Enter and verify patient demographic and insurance information
  • Route patient messages to clinic staff
  • Resolve patient issues via phone or in clinic
  • Maintain consistent processes while delivering compassionate interactions
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in personal computer use, keyboarding/typing, and internet applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Medical/dental terminology knowledge
  • Minimum one year of customer service/telephone/reception experience
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Experience with EPIC or other electronic health record software system
Compensation & Benefits
