Position: Activities Assistant

Type: Full-Time, Day Shift

Schedule: Every third weekend required

We are looking for an energetic and fun-loving individual to join our team! If you have a passion for bringing joy to others, we want to meet you.

• Engage Residents:
  Implement scheduled programs and provide hands‑on assistance to residents during activities.

• Monitor & Report:
  Observe resident behavior during events and communicate updates to the nursing staff as needed.

• Documentation:
  Maintain and manage accurate activity attendance calendars.

• Creativity:
  Assist in preparing and displaying holiday and seasonal decorations throughout the facility.

• Collaboration:
  
  Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Activities and Administrator.

• Experience:
  
  Previous long‑term care experience is preferred. Background in activities required.

• Energy:
  Ability to maintain a fast, busy pace with high energy.

• Physical:
  Able to lift up to 50 lbs and bend, push, or pull as needed.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Tech Savvy:
  Basic computer knowledge required.

• Teamwork:
  Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
