Student Surgical Technologist, East Madison Hospital

Work Schedule

This is a 10-week assignment starting on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 and is a paid Student Surgical Technologist position. Working 2 8-hour shifts per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:30am - 3:00pm, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Gain valuable experience working in health care at the #1 hospital in Wisconsin.

• Perform technical skill duties in all operating room special service areas.
• Provide proper maintenance, assembly, handling, and sterilization techniques of specialty equipment.

• Currently enrolled and actively completing coursework in an accredited surgical technologist program (Required).

• Provision of care with patients (Preferred).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) provider meeting AHA standards (Upon Hire Required).
