Job Description
We are seeking a Lab Assistant to perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages and ensure proper patient identification, specimen labeling, and specimen processing. The position requires patient check‑in, order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system, and daily interaction with pathologists, physicians, technologists, clinical staff, nursing unit personnel, and patients.

- High School Diploma or equivalent – required.
- Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation – required.
- Six months of phlebotomy and specimen processing experience – required.
- One year of experience in phlebotomy and processing – preferred.
- Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent – preferred.
- Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) certification (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent – preferred.
