Overview

Pharmacy Technician I at Lumicera Health Services in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a weekday on‑site role at our state‑of‑the‑art pharmacy distribution center.

• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary prescription information to properly fill a prescription.
• Manage the queue and work oldest orders first.
• Ensure correct shipment of specialty pharmacy orders.
• Maintain adequate inventory of pharmaceuticals, including ordering, receipt, verification, and stocking.
• Act in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and uphold the highest ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED;
  National CPhT and/or registration/licensure preferred per state requirements.
• Minimum two years of pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
