Job Description
Work Schedule
- 100% FTE, day shift. Week 1 schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Week 2 schedule:
Sunday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM. - Weekends, holiday, and standby call rotations required. Hours may vary based on operational needs.
Pay
- Competitive compensation and benefits package. Starting base pay based on relevant work experience.
- Location:
University Hospital, Madison, WI. Eligible for a $15,000 sign‑on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a range of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.
- Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
- Make quick, highly technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology.
- Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs; participate in instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Qualifications
- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology – required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field – preferred.
Work Experience
- Previous healthcare experience – required.
- 2 years of clinical experience – preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
- ARRT Radiography (R) certification – required upon hire.
- Wisconsin Radiological License – required upon hire.
- CPR certification within 3 months of hire – required.
