We are seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to join our team and contribute to exceptional patient care in the Labor & Delivery environment. Base pay range$45,000.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr

JobOverview/Summary
We are seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to join our team and contribute to exceptional patient care in the Labor & Delivery environment. The ideal candidate will support surgical procedures, collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest standards of aseptic technique and surgical preparation.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with RNs, obstetricians, CRNAs, and anesthesiologists in a support role within Labor & Delivery, including the OR.
- Manage supplies, instrumentation, and equipment required for surgical cases.
- Function as a surgical assistant, including passing instruments and assisting physicians during procedures.
- Maintain expertise in aseptic technique in both surgical and obstetrical settings.
- Support the preparation and set‑up for various types of anesthesia; ensure anesthesia supplies and equipment are ready.
- Safely transport patients between units using proper body mechanics.
- Proficiency in surgical assisting and instrumentation
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique
- Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and set‑up
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Robotics experience
- Experience in obstetrical surgical environments
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of start date
- Certification required: TS‑C (Tech in Surgery – Certified) or CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
- Vocational school graduate or applicable work experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience required
- Must be able to respond within a 30‑minute call range
