Full‑time, 100% FTE. Day/night shift. Monday – Friday, 6:40 am – 3:10 pm, possibly one 9:40 am – 6:10 pm shift per week. Includes weekday and weekend on‑call requirement. Two to three possible evening or night shift rotations per year. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Job DescriptionAs a surgical technologist at UW Health, you will work in our fast‑paced inpatient surgery team, preparing the operating room before surgery, working with world‑renowned Level 1 trauma‑center surgeons, and performing complex procedures. You will anticipate needs of and assist surgeons during surgery.
PayThis position may be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for day shift pro‑rated based on FTE. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants. Additional compensation may include weekend differential and on‑call pay.

- Prepare the operating room before surgery.
- Work with renowned surgeons in a Level 1 trauma center.
- Prepare for and perform complex surgical procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of and assist surgeons during surgery.
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist program (required).
- Two years of Surgical Technologist experience (may be considered in lieu of program completion).
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist program (preferred).
- 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist (preferred).
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification within 6 months (required).
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) (preferred).
