Job Requirements:
The Treasury Management Intern is responsible for supporting our Treasury Management Specialists with general departmental needs including client communication, analyzing and updating client information, and assisting with projects as needed. The intern will work with our full-time associates to ensure our Treasury Management Operations run smoothly.
Essential Responsibilities- Understand Bank Mission and Values, organizational structure, employee handbook, bank security, policies and procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Create correspondence, memos, reports, forms and tables for internal/external communication.
- Assist with customer communication, information gathering, inputting customer data and creating detailed reports.
- Maintain accuracy and details of customer files, which may include scanning for electronic files.
- Import documents into our File Storage System.
- Participate in Community Engagement Activities.
- Complete all annual bank security and compliance training.
- Adhere to Bank Security guidelines as required for this position.
- Always maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Stay current on all compliance regulations.
- Additional tasks as assigned to support Treasury operations.
- Working toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business or other related field.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with a diverse group of associates.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
- Flexibility with the ability to adapt to an ever‑changing work environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Functional understanding of advanced features in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint with the ability and willingness to learn new programs/software.
- Willingness and ability to participate in community functions where the office is involved.
- Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner.
