About The Role:
CLA is looking to hire an operations associate to join our trading team in Madison, WI or in Minneapolis, MN. This role is working in our office.
- Manage day-to-day trading operations for the Wealth service line and support the long-term vision of the firm, including Seamless Integration.
- Participate in client trading onboarding and offboarding processes, trading projects, and investment team projects.
- Provide training support and use technology to facilitate communication within and outside of wealth advisory.
- Use of Tamarac Reba lancer/CRM.
- Assist Advisors in reviewing for tax purposes, cash holds, and policy questions.
- Monitor Policies for Compliance/Operations to ensure a consistent client experience.
- Account Set-up Reviews.
- Assist in Allocation Rebalancing/Tax Loss Harvesting.
- Collaborate with the Director of Portfolio Implementation and Managing Director of Investments to support trading/investment needs of wealth advisors; understand CRM, portfolio accounting, and other key systems; assist in producing assets under management and other tracking reports used to manage the business.
- Assist the billing team with cash requirements for quarterly/yearly fees.
- Provide high-quality external client support through timely, courteous, respectful, and helpful communication; assist with service requests from clients.
- Work with the Director of Portfolio Implementation & Managing Director of Investments on special investment advisory projects; perform administrative duties including entering and maintaining client data in databases and systems; undertake other job-related duties and special projects as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:
4-year degree completed;
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Experience:
1 year experience preferred. - Certifications / Licenses:
None required.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $48,700 – $85,000.
