Financial Analyst – Manufacturing Operations

We’re seeking a results-driven Financial Analyst to support manufacturing operations within a growing organization in the water heater industry. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in cost accounting, pricing, budgeting, and strategic analysis
, and who enjoys partnering closely with operations and leadership to drive performance.

This position reports to the Director of Finance & Accounting and plays a key role in shaping financial strategy across manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution.

• Develop and maintain pricing models for manufactured products
• Analyze product costs, margins, and market trends
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to align pricing strategy

• Lead annual budgets and rolling forecasts for manufacturing operations
• Deliver variance analysis with actionable insights
• Collaborate with production and supply chain leaders to align financial plans

• Support capital asset depreciation, audits, regulatory reporting, and tax-related adjustments
• Collaborate with payroll, cost accounting, and budget analysis teams
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls

• Prepare and present financial reports and manufacturing KPIs to leadership
• Support capital investment analysis, ROI modeling, and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure data integrity for informed decision-making

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, etc.)
• Proven experience leading financial processes and collaborating cross-functionally
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (BI tools a plus)
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
