Position Title:
Payroll Analyst
Location:Milwaukee, WI
Status:Contract — 6 months, with the opportunity for possible conversion to permanent/full-time employment with the client. On-site.
Shift /Schedule:
8 hours per day - To be determined
Pay Range:US $35 - $38 per hour W-2

Introduction:Our client is seeking a Payroll analyst to review payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors, checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payments are made on time.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration required.
- Workday experience required
. (Plug and play) - 3-5 of related work experience in payroll.
- Prior experience with process improvement/optimization.
- Experience operating in ADP EV6 and/or ADP Global View Experience.
- Knowledge of eTime.
- Attention to detail, good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Must demonstrate ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Demonstrate ingenuity and initiative to coordinate problem resolution, resolve conflicting priorities, and meet assignment deadlines within a team environment.
- Independently develop solutions to non-recurring problems by analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating data.
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and financial systems.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues.
- Troubleshoot timesheet issues for S4 Hana.
- Ability to follow instructions, take accountability, and operate in a collaborative, team-focused manner.
- Advanced Excel Skills are required.
- Processing payroll calculations.
- Managing payroll data entry.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines.
- Auditing transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Handling garnishments, tax levies, and child support deductions.
- Conducting regular audits on payroll procedures and records.
- Managing payment calendars.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Providing customer service to associates.
- Reviewing payroll data for inefficiencies and errors.
- Ability to work across multiple groups (HR, timekeepers, employees, department managers, accounting, treasury, etc.).
- Demonstrated troubleshooting issues and resolution.
