Position Summary:
Water Quality Technician essential functions include safely and efficiently performing water quality sampling and maintenance services that meet or exceed the standards of clients and management. This position performs a variety of activities involved with water sampling, stormwater maintenance and inspection. On the job training will be provided to the selected candidate.
Specific Duties:
- Collecting and delivering water samples and general water system maintenance.
- Responding to client inquiries and projecting a professional image.
- Safely and proficiently operating all company vehicles and mechanical equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including vehicles, work site and equipment
- Regional travel REQUIRED - 4-5 days per week;
All travel expenses are covered by the Company, no reimbursement needed!
Basic Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience water testing and sampling
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to maintain insurable status under the company's auto policy. This is an ongoing requirement of this position.
- General site maintenance knowledge and skill
- Knowledge of construction safety. (OSHA certifications are preferred.)
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Background check, drug screening and driving record review are part of the pre-employment process.
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive company vehicles and insurability under the company's auto policy are ongoing requirements of this position.
- Overnight travel required 4-5 days per week.
