Lead the Maintenance Team to New Heights!

NOVO Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and manage our maintenance team at our Madison location. This critical leadership role demands a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, coupled with exceptional management and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of all facility equipment and systems.

Experience in large laundry management is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and leadership to the engineering team, overseeing all aspects of facility maintenance and repairs. This includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, boiler operations, and building maintenance.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair complex equipment malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing operational disruptions. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
  • Project Management: Oversee engineering projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and completion, adhering to budgets and timelines. This includes managing contractors and ensuring projects meet the required safety and quality standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes pertaining to facility operations and equipment.
  • Budget Management: Manage the engineering department's budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient resource allocation.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Handle performance evaluations and contribute to employee training and development.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in equipment efficiency and maintenance practices.

    Collaboration:

    Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, operations personnel, and external contractors. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar senior engineering role, preferably within the laundry or healthcare industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler, and building maintenance systems.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and codes.
