DescriptionResponsible for managing the design of mechanical products and packaging. Conducts testing and oversees documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Support the product design activity from concept to validation to manufacture mainly (but not restricted to) CAD/PLM/ERP activities.
- Creates and reviews drawings that are used to create products, following the standards and norms defined by Franklin Electric.
- Tests and resolves issues in products in all stages of the process. Ensuring the implementation of PLM and ERP duties as an engineering patience.
- Verify the result and implementation of his designs searching for improvement opportunities.
- Works with external vendors and regulatory agencies.
- Provides support to other staff and departments as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
- Participate in engineering forums related to CAD/ERP/PLM activities at the regional level.
- King's collects and share design lessons learned.
- Keeps up to date with industry design tools and best practices.
- Writes routine reports and correspondence. ]}}
