, and Willing to Help makes a significant impact on our work culture and the success of our projects. As an Associate Automation Engineer, you will learn how to develop and implement PLC/HMI (Programmable Logic Controllers/Human Machine Interface)

, including simulation and process commissioning at customer sites. You will also work with a team of Manufacturing Intelligence, Hardware, and Industrial IT engineers to deliver a comprehensive project to the customer. During these projects, you will acquire the knowledge to become a trusted consultant for Cybertrol’s customers.
- Partner with Manufacturing Intelligence, Hardware, and Industrial IT engineers to deliver comprehensive projects that meet customer requirements.
- Engage with the customer to develop a complete understanding of their needs to support the deliverables.
- Participate in project engineering throughout the life cycle of projects, from definition to commissioning.
- Develop automation and human interface (PLC/HMI) code in a team environment in a modern software framework.
- Ensure that quality processes have been followed to deliver zero-defect code to the customer during site installation.
Traveling up to 25% may be required to support project lifecycle, training, or other professional related travel. A valid driver’s license is required.
Required Education And Experience- B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Chemical) or related engineering field OR Associate Degree in Engineering Technology (Electrical, Computer, IT, or Electro-Mechanical) or a related engineering technology field or 1-3 years related and relevant experience in industrial automation.

- Industrial automation or control systems course work.
- Exposure to PLC/HMI programming.
- Experience with Agile Scrum development processes.
- Relevant prior industrial or internship experience.

- Goal oriented with the strong desire to learn new technologies and concepts.
Office desk/cubicle environment; extensive computer use; occasional Control Panel powered checkouts in panel shop or customer site.

- Work up and down stairs, indoors and outdoors.
- Electrical/Instrumentation Device Checkout and Troubleshooting. Includes voltage testing, equipment troubleshooting on a ladder, and light electrical assembly – signal wiring in control panels/instruments.
- Working and interfacing with operations, maintenance, engineering, equipment supply, and construction personnel.
Typical PPE required:
