Join us as our new Training Specialist
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of training programs to ensure the continuous learning and development of our employees. The role reports to the Production Manager and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Communicate with area managers to align on training needs and support them in creating development plans for teams and individuals.
- Participate in customer complaint investigations, including determination of corrective actions and sustaining identified corrective actions.
- Obtain the Training Within Industry (TWI) Job Instruction certification as an instructor.
- Deliver TWI training sessions as needed (Management, Spot the talent, Train the trainer).
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs, including curriculum development, training material preparation, and scheduling.
- Coordinate training logistics such as venue booking, equipment setup, and participant registration.
- Communicate training schedules and details to employees, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Support and coach trainers within each department across all production shifts.
- Monitor training program effectiveness (KPIs) and make recommendations for improvements.
- Obtain certification as a C‑One champion to maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and area management to identify training needs and develop relevant content.
- Assist in creating and maintaining skill matrices for all production departments across all three shifts.
- Participate in customer complaint investigations and support findings and corrective actions where appropriate.
- Act as a champion and subject‑matter expert (SME) of problem‑solving both at the floor level and to support investigations from non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
- Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role.
- Proven ability to complete the full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, deliver, and monitor).
- Ability to lead without authority.
- Familiarity with TWI job training methods and techniques.
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and training events.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems (e.g., OneMS).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delivering expected results on time.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design concepts is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, training, HR (P&O), or related field, or equivalent experience.

Working environment is generally favorable and in an office setting. Lighting, temperature, and noise levels are adequate. Work is generally sedentary but may require standing and walking up to 10% of the time. PPE such as hearing protection, hair/beard net, lab jacket, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes may be required in production areas.
Physical DemandsFrequently required to talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, use a keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 10 lb. May also need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision and depth perception are required.
