Hours:
7:30 AM to 3:30 PM during a regular school day.
The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre‑K through eighth Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking Instructional Assistants for primary and middle school grades for the 2026‑2027 school year. Instructional Assistants will work closely with homeroom teachers in a highly collaborative manner. The Instructional Assistant will support the homeroom teacher and manage a variety of learning activities, including small group work.
The Teaching Assistant, along with the homeroom teacher, is committed to offering excellence in student intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of an associate’s degree, an understanding of child development, and an interest in a teaching career.
