Job Description:

St. Ambrose Academy is looking for a full-time English Teacher to join our team of committed educators as we strive to assist parents in the formation of their children through a classical education rooted in the Catholic faith. Preference will be given to those who can teach across a broad range of topics and grade levels. Those interested in part-time positions are also encouraged to apply.

Salary Range: $43,500 to $45,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements: A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field of study is required. Teaching experience is preferred, particularly training in classical education, but training will be provided for the right applicant.

The candidate must be a practicing Catholic, willing to make an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium, whose life of faith serves as an example to our students and families.

  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills;
  • be adaptable to the classical classroom;
  • be able to contribute to curriculum development;
  • and demonstrate a desire to share their gifts and talents with the students and administration of the school.
