Training Manager-National Guard Connectedness & Relationship Education System

The National Guard Bureau (NGB) J1 Warrior Resilience and Fitness (WRF) Division requires a contracted team to manage the implementation of the National Guard (NG) Connectedness and Relationship Education (CARE) System.
NG CARES is an integrated, comprehensive, person-centered (eco) system which builds connections, increases protective factors, and promotes holistic health in support of Service Members and their Families throughout their career.
Major Responsibilities:
- Under supervision of the National Training Manager, work closely with multiple stakeholders to support the successful development, implementation, and ongoing delivery and operations of NG CARES.
- Plan, schedule, execute, and facilitate NG CARES courses, including Executive Leader Course, Coaching Basics Course, First Line Leader Course, and Total Health Basic Course.
- Develop support program and training assistance for NG CARES programs, and design/update instructor guides, participant handouts, and slides.
- Review existing curriculum and suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention.
- Assist in measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of NG CARES programs through various assessment methods.
- Plan, schedule, execute, and instruct Train-the-Trainer Courses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Leadership, Organizational Development, Talent Development, Adult Learning, Program Development, Human Development, Relational Leadership, Military Culture, or Program Management or related area, and at least 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Exemplary skills in presenting/facilitating training to diverse audiences, and the ability to motivate, communicate, and instruct/train others.
- Ability to work as part of a team, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrated consultative approach.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and ability to produce deliverables that carry a "stamp of excellence".
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average.
