Did you retire from MMSD as a teacher, SEA (special education assistant) or secretary (admin clerk)? We would be excited to have you return.

Responsibilities
  • Substitute Teacher
    • Provide instruction to students
    • Provide classroom management
    • Other tasks as assigned by school administration
  • Substitute SEA
    • Instruction and support to students in integrated school and community settings
    • Provide assistance to the teaching staff
    • Lunch and hallway support
    • Other tasks as assigned by school administration
  • Substitute Secretary
    • Provide Front Desk Customer Assistance
    • Support staff and family with verbal and written communication
    • Support the coordination of Substitute staff
    • Other tasks as assigned by school administration
Minimum Qualifications
  • Substitute Teacher and SEA’s must hold an Active Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license or Substitute Teaching license.
  • Substitute SEA’s must hold at least 48 credits post high school or have completed the MTA
  • Retired from MMSD
