Overview
Admissions Counsellor (US Colleges) at Crimson Education. This is a full-time role that can be remote or based in one of Crimson’s offices worldwide. Part-time candidates (25-30+ hours) with high-demand backgrounds may also be considered.

What You’ll Do- Provide overarching admissions strategies to students by creating individualized plans and executing them in collaboration with the Crimson team (Educational Coordinators, Academic Tutors, Application Consultants, ECL Mentors).
- Maintain expert knowledge of high school curricula, extracurriculars, leadership experiences, summer program applications, and standardized test planning to inform admissions recommendations.
- Guide students and parents toward attainable school goals, creating best-fit school lists across varied levels of competition to maximize acceptance chances.
- Conduct formal consulting sessions with students bi-monthly, documenting notes and action items for stakeholders.
- Maintain ongoing communication with students and families outside formal sessions via email and other channels.
- Facilitate or lead development and presentation of marketing materials for seminars or expositions in local markets.
- Collaborate with local Sales teams during Initial Consultations to explain Crimson’s products and services.
- Assist with Product and Resource Development initiatives to improve our service.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top 20 US university or Oxbridge; special consideration for backgrounds in undergraduate admissions consulting.
- Strong preference for experience with US/UK undergraduate admissions consulting at top universities.
- Passion for coaching young adults and appreciation of global perspectives.
- Superior planning and organisational skills; experience in project management, event coordination, and product management is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Stakeholder management with internal teams, students, and parents.
- Resilience when working independently under pressure; adaptable to a fast-paced, growing organisation.
- Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and admissions consulting preferred.
