Overview
UnityPoint Clinic, a physician‑led nonprofit health care organization, is actively recruiting a Hospitalist Physician to join our team in Madison, WI. ShiftSchedule
- Self‑schedule shifts
- 15–16 shifts per month
- 12‑hour rounding shifts 7 a‑m to 7 p‑m
- 10‑hour admitting shifts: 11 a‑m–9 p‑m, 12 p‑m–10 p‑m, 3 p‑m–1 a‑m
- 6‑hour admitting shift 5 p‑m–11 p‑m
- Overnights 9 p‑m to 7 a‑m
- Open ICU with intensivist availability for consults
- Full spectrum specialty support available
- Average census of 13–15 patients
- No required procedures; opportunity for limited ultrasound procedures
- Primary responder for codes unless an intensivist takes over
- Average of 30 admits per day
- Excellent work/life balance with flexible scheduling
- MD or DO
- Board‑eligible or Board‑certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted license to practice in Wisconsin
- Unrestricted state and federal prescribing authority
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1‑B cap exempt)
