Responsibilities- Prepare appropriate rate quotations
- Perform retention calls, process applications, renewals, amendments, resolve customer problems, and promote membership and financial products (credit cards)
- Provide price quotes on all insurance products, applying underwriting rules and discounts to complete sales
- Take insurance payments (initial, installment, lapse, or reinstatement)
- Respond to customer inquiries and explain product features and Auto Club Group service advantages to promote and sell insurance, membership, and financial products
- Refer to agent when appropriate and recognize cross-sale opportunities
- Process and service policies, endorsements, status and coverage changes in accordance with state rules and corporate policies
- Provide customer assistance through sales processing activities and assist management and agents when applicable
- Participate in outbound promotional and retention call activities per management guidelines
- Work in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service
- Receive and resolve member/customer complaints and seek management assistance as needed
- Engage in office events to generate insurance revenue and support local community activities
- Fulfill, maintain and service insurance policies; respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage
- Prepare insurance proposals, policy changes, transfers, and billing clarifications
- Contact members regarding renewals, delinquent payments, and reinstatements when needed
- Verify new business applications and refer relevant members/insureds to other lines of business
- Process insurance and membership payments; update electronic member information; maintain filing systems
- Required Qualifications: A Current Property & Casualty Insurance license; ability to qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling/servicing Auto Club Group Membership products
- Successful completion of Customer Service, Insurance and Membership training within 6 months of hire
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Provide a high level of customer-focused service
- Service insurance policies and process applications, renewals, and amendments
- Respond to billing and coverage questions
- Process monetary transactions and take payments
- Promote the sale of insurance products and services following established guidelines
- Present complex information clearly and concisely
- Analyze member/potential customer insurance needs and determine appropriate coverage
- Organize, plan and promote the sale of ACG insurance and membership products
- Perform outbound service calls; maintain accurate records
- Insurance terminology, regulations, and underwriting procedures
- Sales regulatory and compliance guidelines; insurance and membership systems (e.g., PPS, POS, IMS, IPM)
- Work effectively in a team or independently; superior customer service and professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; clear communication and numerical accuracy
- Read, comprehend, and convey information accurately; work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Complete appropriate training relative to all ACG products and services
Work in a temperature-controlled office environment. Willingness and ability to work irregular hours including weekends, holidays, and community events.
Compensation and BenefitsStarting hourly wage of $23.00 - $25.50 per hour, based on experience. ACG offers comprehensive benefits packages as part of the total compensation.
