• Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition
• Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities
• Escorts VIPs to rooms and checks them in prior to arrival
• Answers the telephone within three rings with a smile and answers questions or transfers as needed
• Responsible for issuing bank counts at beginning and end of shift. Ensures all cash drops comply with proper cash handling procedures and reports all cash over/shorts to management
• Keeps front desk area clean and organized
• Assists with lobby activation as needed
• Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest PPI data
• Follows checklist when checking in or checking out guests, retrieves necessary identification documents and payment upon arrival
• Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries
• Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

• Minimum of one (1) year in Front Desk Operations
• In‑depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations
• Minimum of high school education

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills
