Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000
Overview
We are partnering with a Madison-based organization to identify a high-impact Continuous Improvement Manager who will play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen overall business performance.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on-someone who can translate data and insight into sustainable improvements while influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies
- Analyze operational and performance data to identify improvement opportunities across operations, supply chain, production, and administrative functions
- Develop, manage, and execute the organization's continuous improvement roadmap
- Partner with senior leadership to align CI initiatives with strategic business objectives
- Establish KPIs, monitor results, and report measurable performance improvements
- Mentor and coach employees on CI tools, methodologies, and structured problem-solving
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and improvement events to build organizational capability
- Lead change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to address resistance and sustain long-term improvements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence, or process optimization, ideally within manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
