Carex is partnering with a Insurance industry partner to identify a Business Process Consultant to support a critical Network Separation initiative. Reporting directly to the CFPO, this role plays an integral part in ensuring a smooth and efficient transition of business processes and organizational structures to support network separation. The consultant will focus on minimizing operational disruption while optimizing effectiveness throughout the separation process.
Duration: through 2026, with likelihood of extension
Pay: $80/hr + Carex benefits

- Ensure operational leaders are actively involved in network separation technology decisions, particularly where trade-offs exist.
- Facilitate identification and assessment of business process impacts resulting from network separation technology decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders to determine and implement the most efficient process changes or solutions to sustain business operations post-separation, balancing time, cost, complexity, and compliance.
- Support operational leadership in planning and executing the design, testing, and implementation of selected solutions prior to network separation go‑live.
- Identify process or system improvement opportunities post go‑live and begin documenting business requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between business teams and technical resources to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Build consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Facilitate cross‑functional workshops and working sessions.
- Develop detailed implementation roadmaps and transition plans.
- Monitor progress of operational teams against transition plans and timelines.
- Support testing, training, and rollout of new or updated processes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess complex business challenges, identify root causes, and deliver actionable solutions;
Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated project management expertise, including experience developing and executing project plans, managing multiple stakeholders, and delivering initiatives on time and within budget; PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Proven cross‑functional leadership experience with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and compliance teams while building alignment across diverse groups.
- Experience applying change management principles in large‑scale organizational or technology transformations.
- Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and complex environments while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.
