Business Analyst Consultant

Our client, a government agency supporting state-level initiatives, is seeking a Business Analyst Consultant to join their team. As a Business Analyst Consultant, you will be part of the Department of Children and Families supporting project teams and business partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Ensure complete and accurate business requirements are provided to development teams.
• Facilitate and drive JAD sessions, demos, feedback loops, and UAT testing processes with business partners.
• Work on multiple projects prioritizing business needs and ensuring quality control of web applications and reports.
• Create and maintain artifacts such as requirements traceability matrices, use cases, process flow diagrams, and data analysis reports.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams and business area partners to deliver solutions that meet organizational goals.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business requirements elicitation and documentation.
• At least 7 years of experience in data mapping and data analysis.
• Expertise in SQL with 5+ years of navigating and querying relational databases.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects and manage priorities effectively.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
