Overview

Archimedes is a rapidly growing leader in the specialty drug benefit management space. The Senior Product Manager leads the strategy, development, and performance of Archimedes' specialty drug management programs. This role owns the product vision and ensures offerings meet market needs, deliver measurable value, and support organizational goals.

The ideal candidate brings deep PBM industry experience and strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy benefits. They collaborate closely with clinical, operations, analytics, and technology teams to guide product enhancements, support execution, and drive continuous improvement across specialty drug programs.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as fully accountable business owner for several product lines. This position is responsible for the full product lifecycle including building strategic roadmaps, developing and documenting product requirements, leading product development efforts, and managing day-to-day product business needs.
  • Work cross‑functionally to understand internal and external client needs, provide product training, and troubleshoot product issues and questions.
  • Present product capabilities to clients and prospects.
  • Own strategic relationships with key partners, including negotiations and performance management.
  • Own financial and operational product success metrics and performance reporting.
Qualifications

Essential Background Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pharmacy and/or medical benefits industry in relevant positions.
    • Knowledge of specialty medication benefits is required.
    • Excellent project‑management skills with experience working cross‑functionally to meet project milestones.
    • Experience owning contract negotiations with key partners.
    • Self‑motivated and able to thrive in a results‑driven environment.
    • Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
    • This role will frequently involve data analysis – the candidate must have proven abilities in this area with very strong Excel skills.
    • Strong communication skills including the ability to present to clients.
    • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
    • Expert at Microsoft Office Suite.
